Home users who want a plumb-in machine with PID control
Suits home users who want PID temperature control, a pressure gauge and a plumb-in machine with a standard 58 mm portafilter. The trade-off is weight: at 35 kg it is hard to move around.
Skip it if: You want a compact or easily moved machine.

Thermoblock heating gets this semi-automatic ready quickly, and PID control plus a pressure gauge give useful feedback. The 2 L tank and 58 mm portafilter suit a first step up, but it is less temperature stable than a boiler machine.
Skip it if: You make several milk drinks back to back
